Experience
Simone Freund advises both national and international clients in all areas of business law. As a trained mediator, she represents clients in complex commercial disputes in front of German courts and international institutions. She focuses on corporate disputes (including director and officer liability), post M&A disputes, and complex commercial and liability disputes (including product liability) within an international context. Labor and employment law, including the representation of clients in front of the German labor court, is another focus of her activity.
Simone Freund began her career as an attorney with the international law firm Jones Day (2001 – 2009), where she worked in the areas of business practice and litigation/arbitration. Further career steps include the dispute resolution boutique Friedrich Korch Hanefeld (2009 – 2011) and the medium-sized but internationally focused firm Pant Legal (2011 – 2014).
